The average American spend about $14.40 per week on coffee (not including the cost of drinking coffee at home) and an average of $1,100 annually on coffee, according to ABC News. Additionally, the most coffee dependent drinkers are located in the northeast.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Drinkers

America may be obsessed with coffee but as it turns out, the U.S. isn’t at the top of the list for coffee consumption around the world. According to Euromonitor, the Netherlands ranks #1 at 2.4 cups a day per-capita consumption while the U.S. ranks 16th just beneath Belgium, Switzerland and New Zealand.
