Orange-Kissed Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa

Easy decadent and delicious treat anytime!

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 4 cups half-and-half, light cream, or whole milk
  • 
3/4 cup Ghirardelli® Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa
  • 
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur (optional)
  • 
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • Sugared Orange Zest (optional)

Using a vegetable peeler, remove zest (orange part only) from the oranges (save oranges for another use). In a medium saucepan, combine half-and-half and orange zest. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to boiling. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes. Next, strain milk into a medium bowl; discard orange zest. Return milk to saucepan. Stir in Ghirardelli® Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa mix. Heat through but do not boil. Remove saucepan from heat. If desired, stir in liqueur. Serve in demitasse cups or shot glasses. Top with marshmallows and, if desired, *Sugared Orange Zest.

Sugared Orange Zest: Using a vegetable peeler, remove zest (orange part only) from 1 orange (save orange for another use). Cut the zest into thin strips. Toss the strips in a small amount of sugar (2 to 3 tablespoons) to coat. Yields 8 servings

Refreshing Chai Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Oregon Chai Original Chai Tea Latte
  • 4 oz. lemonade (made to the instructions on the packaging)
  • Ice

Mix the chai and lemonade in a martini shaker and pour over ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge for an extra bite. Add in DaVinci Gourmet Raspberry or Strawberry Syrup and garnish with fresh raspberries and strawberries for a fruity addition to a refreshing summer treat.

Sugar-Free Slice of Summer Italian Soda

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. DaVinci Gourmet Watermelon Sugar Free Syrup
  • 1 oz. DaVinci Gourmet Strawberry Sugar Free Syrup
  • ice
  • sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 oz Half and Half (optional)

Fill a 16 oz glass 3/4 full of ice. Cover ice with sparkling water and add syrups. Mix well. Tip: Top with whipped cream if desired. Makes one 16-ounce serving.

Bombay Chai Latte

Enjoy the exotic taste of this tea!

Ingredients

  • 1 Bombay Chai Tea Pouch
  • 6 oz. Purified Water
  • 6 oz. Milk or Soy
  • 1 tsp. Sugar

Steep one tea pouch in 6 oz. boiling water for time shown on tea pouch tag in preferred mug or glass.
 While tea steeps, froth 6 oz. heated milk with a milk frother, whisk or use espresso machine.
 Remove tea pouch, add frothed milk and sugar or sweetner to taste. Serves one 12 oz. cup.

Espresso – This strong black coffee is made by forcing hot water through finely ground dark roasted coffee beans. The light brown froth on the top of a shot of espresso is called the crema and contains much of the coffee’s flavor.

  • 6 oz. Orange Dulce Mighty Leaf Tea
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Agave Nectar

Fill 16 oz. glass with 8 oz. of ice. Add all ingredients and stir. Serves one 16 oz. cup.
