Here are the most polar types of coffee drinks served at coffee houses:

Espresso – This strong black coffee is made by forcing hot water through finely ground dark roasted coffee beans. The light brown froth on the top of a shot of espresso is called the crema and contains much of the coffee’s flavor.
Cafe Latte – A latte is espresso topped with three parts of steamed milk. For some variation, sweetened flavors such as caramel, vanilla, or hazelnut can also be added.

Cappuccino – A hugely popular drink, this is a latte topped off with steamed milk and extra froth.
Americano – An Americano is a single shot of espresso added to a cup of hot water.
Mocha – A latte with added chocolate, or hot chocolate with added espresso. Flavored syrups can also be added such as chocolate, caramel or hazelnut.
